　　He Yaqing graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences and Henan Medical College . She has served as the vice-chief of the Microbiology Division since 2003 in Shenzhen Center for Disease Control & Prevention. She is the expert of the People's Government of Shenzhen Special Allowance, the National Leading Talents. In advanced individual of the fight against the SARS virus, she received the First-Class Merit of Guangdong Province Government and honors of Central Committee of Chinese Democratic League and Shenzhen Government. She also is master student supervisor of Southern Medical College, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology, College of Life Science , University of Shenzhen . She is the vice-chairman of Medical Virology Academy of Guangdong Provincal Prevention Medical Academy and Pathogenic Microbiology Academy of Shenzhen Prevention Medical Academy, the expert of Shenzhen Control and Prevention for Anthropo Zoonosis Committee, the reviewer of Chinese Journal of Epidemiology Magazine and Disease Surveillance Magazine. As a visiting scholar, she had been training in University of Pittsburgh and CDC in America from 2006 to 2007.

She has worked on preventive medicine and viral disease surveillance and emergency infectious disease pathogen diagnosis. Dr. He is known for her expertise in enterovirus type 71 and Cox A16 surveillance in hand-foot-mouth disease. Her research work focused on enteroviruses and diarrhea virus molecular epidemiology & diagnosis (EV71, Cox A16, Rotavirus, Norovirus, astrovirus and entertic adenovirus). She has been as the program director or participator for total 10 grant items including of National 973, National Science & Technology ministry, The National "Eleven Five" Special Science and Technology Major Project, National Natural Science Foundation, Guangdong Province Medical Scientific Research Fund Project, The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle Project and Shenzhen City Science and Technology Major Project. She also received five distinguished awards: one major award and two second prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology, one Shenzhen City Science and Technology Innovation Award, one Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Prize Three. Six patents were applied for（two of them have been authorized）. She has published about 60 scientific articles in Science, J Clin Microbiol, The EMBO Journal, Chinese Medical Journal etc. until 2011. Her eight master post-graduates have graduated.
